Rock Hounds, Gem Miners, Treasure Hunters

If you enjoy finding that shiny rock in the dirt, seeing the flash of gold in your pan, cutting that perfect cabochon or any other type of treasure hunting and prospecting, than we share a common interest. I built this site to share my finds and make some new friends. I'm always interested in new and interesting items. If you have something to offer or wish to trade, let me know what you have. We have some great flea markets down here in Alabama, and we were lucky enough to pick up a nice selection of these polished beauties. Usually don't see a lot of rock dealers so needless to say we were pleased. We bought all they had to offer. See the photo album for lots more pictures

We are always on the lookout for geodes. Whether we're tromping through the woods hunting them down or getting boxes full from friends in other states, we love 'em. We recently received a nice batch from Cathy in Wisconsin. Lots more photos in the photo album. Make sure and take a look.

I personally have a great fascination with corundum. Rubies, sapphires doesn't matter. Unfortunately we haven't had a lot of luck at the native mines so we had to settle for the tourist spots. Make sure and check out the new blog. I review every mine we go to.
